Career Opportunity

The successful applicant will teach various courses in physics for the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, conduct research in areas of their professional academic expertise, supervise students' research projects at all levels and carry out all other duties as delegated by the dean of the faculty

Minimum Qualification and Experience Requirements:

To be qualified for this position, applicants must:

• A PhD /Master's degree qualification in Physics and Mathematics.
• At least one refereed paper plus at least three conference papers and a minimum of five years of formal tertiary teaching and research/experience.
• Some experience in programme development and review.

Desirable Attributes::

Preference will be given to applicants with the following attributes;

• Experience in conducting quality teaching in a particular specialism.
• Experience in developing and implementing research objectives, projects and proposals.
• Experience in collaboration with university and industry colleagues when developing new programmes.
• Experience in consultancy work with national, regional and international organizations.

Terms and Conditions
The position is for three (3) years under an employment contract. The contract is renewable subject to good performance.
